Mission: To engage and empower current and future leaders in the Fond du Lac area through professional development, networking, and social opportunities.
Vision: We actively recruit young professionals with diverse backgrounds and ideas to participate in programs that advance the personal and professional development of our members. Together, we will be agents of change, guiding our community forward as it evolves.
The Young Professionals of Fond du Lac came to fruition within a matter of a few months in the Spring/Summer of 2004. During this time, a group of 12 young professionals from the Fond du Lac area met and founded YPF. Essentially, this group determined the name, the mission and the vision of YPF, created bylaws and elected the founding board of directors.

YPF is a division of the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce (FDLAC), which allocates one professional to assist the organization part-time. FDLAC serves as an advocate for area businesses to encourage business development, capital investment and job creation. Representing over 800 businesses and nonprofit organizations located in the Fond du Lac area, FDLAC leadership is recognized for ensuring the long-term viability of the region and greater prosperity for its residents.
