What is IdeaCamp?
IdeaCamp is a Fond du Lac BarCamp. It embraces the thought of a community educating each other. It is an international network of user-generated conferences. They are open, participatory workshop-events, the content of which is provided by participants. This will be the first year YPF will host IdeaCamp, but with the support of a group of entrepreneurial spirits that started BarCamp Fond du Lac about 4 years ago.
What happens on this day?
Come in the morning of IdeaCamp and meet every attendee there, along with what topic they are interested in talking or hearing about. After opening ceremony, go to a board full of post-it notes and time slots available and mark your topic up there that you wish to speak on. Topics in the past have included: Time Travel, Agile Development, Beekeeping and 3D Printing. Speaking is optional but encouraged – everyone has something to share.
