Find your beervana with guidance from beer sensory and cheese experts.
Learn the ins and outs about how malt flavors “craft” your favorite beer. Guest speaker, sensory expert and pioneer Cassie Poirier from Briess Malt & Ingrediants, will provide a look at how various styles of malt contribute to different beer flavor profiles. You’ll sample different styles of beer with Cassie and learn how to identify the malt flavors experienced in each beer. But what’s some beer without a little cheese? Cheese expert Laura Henning from Henning’s Cheese will explore how cheese flavor is created and demonstrate what cheeses pair well with different styles of beer.
Registration begins at 5:30pm with the program beginning at 6:00pm.
Complimentary heavy appetizers will be available on a first come, first served basis (when they’re gone, they’re gone!) and cash bar will be open.
