YPF Volunteer Event: A Brush with Kindness

Join YPF as we brush with kindness! Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County is constantly doing great things in Fond du Lac and on Sunday, April 12 YPF is excited to return the favor. We’ll be spending the day painting the interior of Habitat for Humanity ReStore – no painting talent or experience is needed. Wear appropriate clothing for indoor painting (Habitat will be providing free t-shirts). And come with a can-do attitude, ready to get dirty, have fun and mingle with YPF!

Whether you can commit to the entire event (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) or you can only join us for an hour or two – we want to see you!

ABOUT HABITAT FOR HUMANITY: Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing ministry organized to work with the local community to build simple, decent, affordable houses with those who lack adequate shelter. Habitat is not a giveaway program. In addition to a down payment and the monthly mortgage payments, homeowners invest hundreds of hours of their own labor—sweat equity—into building their Habitat house and the houses of others.

Habitat for Humanity has been serving Fond du Lac County since 1996 and has built 25 homes. To help cover the cost of their homes, Habitat hosts an annual fundraising event, Hard Hats & Heels. Profits from the ReStore are also used to directly support the construction of homes. The ReStore is a home improvement retail store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price.

* A Brush with Kindness is an exterior home preservation program, for more information visit

Habitat welcomes volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and also serves people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religions. For more information visit
