YPF Cooking Class at Hotel Retlaw

YPF is proud to bring a cooking class to Fond du Lac. Want to learn from one of the most respected Chefs in the area, while sipping on some beverages? Each attendee will have the opportunity to practice some newly learned cooking skills at their table; all leading up to an amazing meal.
The event will be taking place at the newly opened Hotel Retlaw in downtown Fond du Lac. Registration will be from 5:30 – 6:00 with the fun starting shortly after.
*Included in the ticket price: One drink voucher (beer/wine); multiple hors d’oeuvres; cooking demonstration/show from Chef Chanse; main course (partially prepared by you); and dessert.
A cash bar will be available throughout the event.
Chef Chanse Schomber is a respected culinary figure in the area with strong roots in the Fond du Lac region. He has served as chef at multiple fine dining establishments. At Hotel Retlaw, he oversees all culinary duties at the property, including restaurant operations and onsite events. Chef Chanse has taught numerous cooking schools and has given live cooking demos in front of 20 to 6,000 people, but his true passion is watermelon sculpturing. To date, he has carved over 1,300 unique watermelon sculptures. He was one of the lead chefs at the U.S. Open at Erin Hills, where he carved 17 watermelon sculptures and was the lead chef for the celebration meal for the final day of the tournament.
