Events

Since its inception in June of 2004, a primary mission of the Young Professionals of Fond du Lac is to sponsor monthly events that allow its members opportunities to network in both social and professional settings. Members can then have an opportunity to invite guests and learn more about the mission and goals of YPF.

GET INVOLVED!

Attending YPF events is a great way to find out what YPF is all about. You will meet monthly with collegues and friends while continuing to expand and diversify your network. Come see what the excitement is all about!

Diversity in the Workplace @ Common Grounds Coffeehouse at Marian University
Mar 26 @ 7:30 am – 9:00 am

Diversity in the workplace has become somewhat of a hot topic across the country. Companies are seeking this diversity in order to bring different perspectives and life experiences to the table. Are you prepared to handle this difference? Do you recognize if you are acting differently based on your audience? Join us in exploring this further.

About the Presenter: Lyndsey Seewald
Lyndsey Seewald is living out her dream as the head women’s basketball coach at Marian University in Fond du Lac after receiving educational achievements that include a BS in Psychology and a MA in Sport & Performance Psychology. Every day she goes to work with one thing in mind; how to create spaces for our student-athletes, staff, and faculty to seek and fulfill their dreams. The process is her main focus, trusting that the outcome will beautifully create itself.

YPWeek 2018: What the hell is coworking, anyway?
Apr 23 @ 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Registration coming soon!

Coworking spaces have been popping up in communities across the country and they’re making a push in Wisconsin already, too. And, you might be asking, “What the hell is coworking, anyway?”

We’ll explore that together over a delicious lunch in an empty storefront in downtown Fond du Lac (final location yet to be determined). Along for the ride will be cowork space managers from other Wisconsin communities as well as the geeks & creatives of wisnet who are looking to bring a space just like it to our own backyard. You’ll also learn why studies show those who are part of coworking environments thrive more than those in a traditional office environment.

Registration and lunch begins at 11:30am

Program begins at Noon
