Holly Luehring – 2016 YP of the Year
Holly Luehring, Director of Marketing at Michels Corporation, has been impacting her team and company along with the Fond du Lac community, for the past 16 years. Starting as an intern, Holly grew through various roles to her current Director position. Over the past 18 months, Holly has achieved the introduction of a corporate-wide benevolent giving policy, an internal customer service training program and (vastly important to YP culture) a comprehensive engagement and retention program that focuses on team building, families, volunteerism and personal enrichment.
As a current member of the Fond du Lac Festivals, Charity Club and YMCA Board of Directors, Holly is actively engaged in many aspects of cultural development for our community. On top of that, Holly is also the driving force behind the creation of the Fond du Lac Marketing Professionals, a new group for area marketers to share ideas and grow together. She’s developed a network to find training, events and networking not previously available in our community. That organization is now 50 members strong and growing. Another nomination letter put it best, “Not only is she invested in Fond du Lac’s future; she is already shaping it.”
She’s not only dedicated and motivated to promoting Michels, but also leads by example. One nominator described her as seeing the big picture while understanding how important the small details are. The list of other initiatives is loaded with programs that further culture right in our backyard. Programs like Giving Tuesday, Lemonade Day and Junior Achievement just to name a few.
YPF is proud to congratulate to our 2016 YP of the Year, Holly Luehring! Her drive and incredible organizational skills are a combination that has helped to propel Michels and Fond du Lac forward.
