Kelly Norton – 2016 Future 5
Kelly Norton, President of St. Mary’s Springs Academy, has been a part of history in our community. Kelly lead Springs through the final stages of their capital campaign and building project which included raising over $26 Million, the largest single capital project in the history of Fond du Lac. And it wasn’t just raising those funds, it was applying crucial design, build and interior decisions that would shape the lives of thousands of students each year. Kelly also directed the school through a first ever system accreditation via AdvancEd. And by the way, that’s just Kelly’s first year as President.
In the community, Kelly strives to challenge boards, committees and groups to look at how to make the greatest community impact with each step they make. Focusing on the possibilities of what “could be” rather than what’s always been done. Her approach has helped to shape the direction of Fond du Lac Morning Rotary, Envision Fond du Lac, Women’s Fund, Fond du Lac Area Catholic Education Foundation and more.
Kelly’s eye on the future to develop richer relationships between businesses and education is exactly the type of foresight we need to make and keep our community strong for decades to come. YPF thanks and congratulates Kelly on being a 2016 Future 5 recipient!
