Ryan Haase – 2015 Future 5
In his role as Human Resources Manager at Society Insurance, Ryan Haase has lead his company’s talent management initiatives to the next level. When nominated by Amy Collett, Vice President Human Resources, she calls attention to Haase’s, “ability to see and assess talents in individuals that many may overlook.”
Haase’s role at Society Insurance isn’t just about employees and managers, but he’s also built an award winning internship program from the ground up. Starting as just one or two summer interns, the program has grown to about a dozen interns that cover year-round and summer timeframes. Collett mentions this program earned, “the Outstanding Internship Program Award by the Milwaukee Area College Internship Consortium.”
Developing his skill set, Haase is a member of Moraine Park Technical College’s STRAT Leadership Program, culminating in the implementation of a strategic project across Society Insurance. Outside of the office, he’s President of the Fond du Lac Area Human Resources Association as well as sitting on the steering committee for Fond du Lac Works. Haase also manages to find time to serve on the UW-Oshkosh networking/employer resource advisory group for the School of Business and Career Services.
“Ryan has had a significant impact on our organization as well as the Fond du Lac Community,” says Collett. “He has a passion for giving back wherever he can.”
