Hometown: Fond du Lac, WI
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Marquette University and a Master of Business Administration from Lakeland College
Where do you work, what is your current position and what do you like most about it?
I work at Agnesian HealthCare in Business Development as the Provider Liaison. First and foremost, I love the people that I work with! My team is incredible and makes work an enjoyable place to be. I also really enjoy working with the physicians to grow their practice. Being able to work side by side with a physician to create a plan, and then seeing it come to life is extremely rewarding!
What has YPF done for your personal and/or professional development?
One of the greatest parts of being a YPF member are all of the social outings and networking opportunities that they offer. I have had the opportunity to attend a variety of events and enjoy meeting other young people in the community. Having the opportunity to talk to other YPF members about both professional and personal life has been really insightful! I have gained many new friends through my involvement and encourage others to become a member as well!
Who or what is your source of professional inspiration?
I am most inspired by Holly Brenner, Vice President of Strategic Development and Marketing at Agnesian HealthCare. Holly is a real go-getter! She inspires me to push myself beyond my comfort zone, to be bold and challenge status quo, and to approach each situation with a smile and positive attitude!
What are some of the professional and volunteer groups you participate in?
Other than being a member of YPF, I also volunteer my time as a board member for Habitat for Humanity. I chair the Resource Development Committee, and the signature fundraising event, Hard Hats & Heels. I am also a member of the American Association of Physician Liaisons and have most recently joined the Forward Fond du Lac Family Integration Committee!
What is your favorite thing to do in the Fond du Lac area?
I really enjoy being outside (when it is nice out)! I like to take my dog, Harley, to the dog park, walk or ride my bike on the Loop, and hike on the awesome trails nearby!
What words of wisdom do you have for other young professionals working in Fond du Lac?
Be passionate about what you do and get outside of your comfort zone! Accept honest feedback and grow from it. Feel empowered to make bold decisions and execute 100%. If you make a mistake, at least you did it with enthusiasm! Finally, approach every situation with a positive mindset and a smile. It will make all the difference.
